Oh What A Beautiful Morning. Oh What A Beautiful Day.
I got a Beautiful feeling. Everything's going my way.
I got up at 9:15 this morning to take a shower, but my sister ended up in it before me.
So I came upstairs and looked out the window by our front door, and the sky was blue.
I quickly hurried up the stairs to the front windows and looked outside. The sky is blue, the grass is green, and yes, there are even a few daffodils. I love daffodils. They are just so happy. Whenever I see them I think of my grampa. I never knew him but my mom says that he used to call them buttercups. So sometimes I call them buttercups.
To sum everything up, I am so happy that it is spring. I love spring. I love the warm air we begin to get. I love the beautiful and bright colors. I love the azure sky and the kelly green grass. I love green grass. You may have already known that, but still, it is true.
Yesterday was my little sister's birthday. Only she is not that little anymore. She is 14 now. AHH! When did I get so old! EEK! Anyway, yesterday, my ward young women had the opportunity to go up to Salt Lake for the General Young Women's Conference. My I just say, It was amazing! I love Sister Dalton. She is such a sweetheart. Funny story. So we are sitting in our row and we were in the balcony of the Conference Center towards the bottom. My nextdoor neighbor Kristin, was at the top trying to find where our ward was sitting. She saw my red hair and then knew that that was me and that was where we were sitting. When she got down there, she sat by me and told me that she was thankful for my hair and told me that she knew where we were sitting because of it. So in a way, I was a beacon of light, or a girl with red hair to show the way. My mom told me that she knew that she and my dad gave me red hair for something. Now my life is complete. My purpose if fulfilled. To show Kristin where we were sitting.
It was pretty fantastic.
I sure hope that this week is warmer. I know it is supposed to rain until Wednesday...but I am wishing with all of my heart that it will not. I really wish that it will be warm. And maybe a little windy. I bought a kite the other day and there has been no wind! It has Lightning McQueen on it. And it is bright yellow. It makes my life.
And it has to be windy this week because we are flying kites in English some day! Hopefully my class remembers to bring kites. $1 at walmart people! We have maybe 7 right now, but we need 18! Come on slackers!
Now that my rambling is done, I think...I am going to go and play the piano. I made up an arrangement of "Joseph Smith's First Prayer" and I love the first line of it. Alright I love all of the lyrics.
"Oh how lovely was the morning, radiant beamed the sun above. Bees were humming, sweet birds singing, music ringing through the grove." That is how this morning was. I love the birds chirping in the morning sunlight. I love their chipper, happy tweeting.
Okay. Now I am done rambling.
I hope that you have a fantastic Sunday.
Smile. Give someone a compliment.
Pray for someone in need.
And enjoy the sunshine.
Jaiho.
