I'm happy to report that I have all straight A's my first term of Senior year. Amazing.
No AP Environmental Science to kick me in the pants. No 10 assignments plus 15 writing logs in English to elbow me in the knees. No Math to freak my brain out so it quits working for the rest of the day.
Advice for Juniors and Sophmores from one very pleased Senior.
1. Get all required classes done your first two years of high school. Save Senior year for the fun.
2. Easy classes to take Senior year for the optimum amount of homework. Meaning almost none.
Spirit Team, Sociology, Photography, Seminary (An absolute must. Just to get away from the dramatic world), And if you really want to, Communications.
Let's talk about Communications. I've had Ms. Stanton McAtee for 3 years running. Soph- English Honors. Jun- English Honors. Sen-Communications. Let me tell you. Communications is so so so so much easier than English. First off, less assignments. Second, if there are assignments, they're simple and don't take up a lot of time. Third. Less quizzes. No "Civil Disobedience." No "I Have a dream". It's awesome.
Senior year is going super great. Ballroom Team is totally awesome and I love it. My shoes finally came today. And I have a competition on Saturday. Desperately wearing them as much as I can so as to break them in before then. Wish me luck in the next 2 days.
Happy Schooling :)
Love Jenny
