Have You Inserted Your Name?

I ask you to please insert your name in the following. "*" Indicates when to insert your name.

D&C 81:5 - Wherefore, be faithful *; stand in the office which I have appointed unto you; succor the wak, lift up the hands which hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees.

D&C 50:41 - Fear not, *(insert instead of "little children") for you are mine, and I have overcome the world, and you are of them that my Father hath given me.

THE CHALLENGE: I challenge you, if you have recieved your patriarchal blessing, at the actual beginning of the blessing, insert "My dear *your name*," and then at the end, put in "I love you and cherish you. Love forever, Your Heavenly Father" It is really a neat experience when you read it like that. I've made it a habit to read it once like it is, and then once like a letter to me from Heavenly Father. It has made all the difference.

Another note: In Hymn #169 "As Now We Take the Sacrament", change all the "we, us, we're, we'll...etc..." to "I, I'll, me..etc..." Really cool. Makes it personal to you.

In Article of Faith 13: Do the same. Change it to first person.

"I believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, I may say that I follow the admonition of Paul-I believe all things, I hope all things, I have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, I seek after these things."

Also, if you are female, change the young women theme to first person.

"I am a daughter of Heavenly Father, who loves me and I love Him..." so on and so forth.

Just a thought. (:
