Everything is Awesome.

I have a full time job.
I get a large paycheck.

Which means I moved out.
I have a little 2 story apartment I share with 3 roommates.
1 of those roommates being my older sister, whom I adore.
The others are never there, so I come home from work, use MY own key to get into MY apartment, grab a snicky snack and pinterest while watching Friends.
It's quite fun.

I also crossed something off my bucket list.
"Be in LDC."
I'm in an Institute choir called LDC or Latter Day Celebration.
Both of my older sisters have been members of this choir and ever since my oldest sister started, and I heard stories and the songs that they sang, I knew I had to be a part of it. It has made a difference in both of their lives and I can't wait to see what kind of difference it will make in mine. Already I have been affected by the 6 years that my family has been involved in this choir, and I know that me being a part of it will change my life.

Here's a happy story.

I'm at work and I'm getting a little nervous for the first day of LDC. However, I already know a lot of the members due to past years, and so I don't feel as nervous as I would if I were to be thrown in without any knowing of persons. I get there early to renew my parking pass, and then I go to the room. Already, probably half the choir is standing outside the door. I see my friend Derek. I see my friend Jennie. I recognize a few more people I've seen before, but then I see Preston. Preston is this tall, red-headed angel. He's one of those people who makes everyone feel so good about themselves. So he sees me and says loudly "Hey JENNY!" Then he comes over to me to give me a great big hug. (P.S He gives really good hugs.) It was a happy moment.

Then I go in to sit down, and Derek is already in the room, so he sees me and gives me a face, and I ask him what that face means. He says, "What do you think it means?" as he walks over to me. I hold out my arms and say "It means come here and give me a hug." So we hug for a few moments. That was happy too.

Tyler shook my hand in passing. I say "Hey Tyler."
Anna catches my attention and smiles really big and mouths "Hi!" to me.
Then I see Preston across the way and he smiles really big again and mouths "Jenny *my last name*."
I mouth his name back with a huge smile myself.

It was a really happy day. Plus we're singing a really fun song tomorrow. Yes TOMORROW. The 2nd day of class. Wahoo! It's way fun. And pretty easy.

I'm so excited. So so excited to spend the next semesters with these people. It really is a miracle choir. I have seen so many lives touched by it, both members and listeners. I can't wait to make an impact and feel the impact.

XOXO, Jenny
