This is my 100th post. I thought I would make it special for you and I.
In General Conference of October 2009, in the the Sunday Afternoon Session, Elder Jefferey R. Holland of the quorum of the 12 apostles gave a talk called "Safety for the Soul". I remember watching him and thinking, "This man is a true disciple of Christ. He knows that Christ lives and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church. He knows and believes that the Book of Mormon is true.
"I want it absolutely clear when I stand before the judgment bar of God that I declared to the world, in the most straightforward language I could summon, that the Book of Mormon is true.."
This is his unwavering, divine testimony in which he states that indeed the Book of Mormon is true. I am amazed that a person could stand in front of the world and bare in the most powerful voice, his testimony. I mean I can barely get up in front of 300 people and bare mine. I can barely handle 36 without bawling my eyes out.
Jeffrey R. Holland is one of my absolute favorite people in the world. He has such a strong testimony and I believe with all my heart that he knows. He knows that there is a God and the He loves us. I always love hearing him speak about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Whenever he speaks, I feel in my heart the spirit of God. I know that Elder Holland knows for himself.
This is his testimony also of our Savior and Reedemer, Jesus Christ.
I bawled when I watched this video.
I know with all my heart, that this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the one and only true church. I love this gospel and am eager to learn more and more everyday. I am so thankful for the Atonement and the example that our Savior Jesus Christ has shown for us. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon, and to add to Elder Holland's testimony, I also believe that the Book of Mormon is true. Every word of it. I testify that Jesus is the Christ and that He lives. I love Him very much and am thankful that I have the gospel in my life.
I say these things humbly, in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
I sure hope that you had a most wonderful Easter Holiday, and I hope that you thought about Jesus Christ and what He has done for you. Remember the Ressurection. Read about it in the scriptures. Thank you for reading this blog and thank you for listening to my testimony.
I love you all.
I like your video! By the way, Happy Easter...This may be a late greeting. Nonetheless, it won't hurt...Thanks! Daniel
