(Warning! This is kind of cheezy. Well at least one picture is. I just did it for fun.)
Today I went to get my permit and I was thinking about my childhood and how I've grown up so fast! I can't believe it! So I thought I would share some memories and pictures with you.
Playdough! Everybody likes playdough! I used to love playing with playdough. Maggie and I would ask my mom if we could make homemade playdough and then we would make pies and cookies and cakes and candy and then we would "bake" it in the oven (that wasn't turned on). It made me feel so good when my mom would "eat" it and say it was the most delicious thing that she had ever tasted.
I don't know about you but I still love jumping rope. I would always ask my mom for a jump rope for my birthday, Christmas or even in my Easter basket. I loved it! Really good excersize and lots of fun and a great pass time.
Oh the joy of tricycles. this one above looks almost exactly like the one I had. I absolutely loved my tricycle. I was so sad when my dad told me that I was too old to ride a tricycle. I didn't like two wheelers. Though I was jealous of a girl that was younger than me and she could ride a two wheeler. So of course I had to learn to ride one so I could seem older than her. It was a sad day but I finally agreed to give away my tricycle.
Sidewalk chalk is just a given with little kids. We have 6 huge squares on our driveway and 6 kids. So naturally each child got their own square to draw whatever they wanted. I drew a picture of my dad in the garage once and I have a picture but I can't find it. Sad day. It doesn't look anything like my dad. In the picture he is short and has glasses. In real life he is a giant and he doesn't wear glasses all the time. Sometimes though. Ah ha! It was a prediction! Man, I was smart. Ha ha. Well that's it for chalk.
BUBBLES! One of my favorite things! I don't really have any memories with bubbles but I know because I used to get my own bubbles for Easter as a kid, I love them now and I always will.

Do you remember these... Well there is a story about this one.
Well let's start from the very beginning. We moved into my house in 1998. I remember very vaguely when my mom went out to get the mail and Brother Culp was getting his. I happened to be behind my mom and Mack was with his dad. So that was when I met my first friend in this ward. We became best friends and we would play almost every day. We had this one game. Well okay we had like 100 games but we usually played house. We would draw a parking lot in his driveway for our cars. (These ones above, scooters, bikes, tricycles, etc.) Then we would go shopping with our baby. Yep he was the daddy and I was the mommy. It is kindof weird to think about it now but I think it was fun. Every once in a while we talk about back then now and we just laugh at how little kiddish we were. Cuties.

I loved overalls. They were my favorite thing to wear. I should really go find some and wear them in the summer sometime. It will be interesting but fun.
Aww! Ain't I cute!? With my little curly locks.
Taking care of my flowers. Making sure that they are okay and still growing. Maybe this is why I always wanted to be a gardener when I grew up!
This is me on my 4th birthday. Two weeks before we moved. I remember this birthday the most. I got this big green ball (picture below) and I loved it to death. I also got a dollar as you can see. And two weeks after my birthday I got the biggest present a 4 year old could possibly get. A new house. Ha ha.
This is my big green ball. I loved this ball. Sad, sad story about this ball. We brought it to the new house of course. I was playing with it in the backyard and my brother accidentally kicked it over the fence into our neighbors backyard. Sadie, their dog popped it and chewed it to bits. And I, a little 4 year old who just got that magnificent ball two weeks before for her birthday, was a witness and watched the whole thing. I cried for days after. I have hated Sadie ever since. Until she went away...
Toothless Wonder. That's all I have to say.
Ok. Some more memories.
Everyone was gone except my brother Aric and I. Aric really didn't want to babysit me and so he put on Alice in Wonderland for me. I really didn't like him right then. You know little kids always want to play not sit and watch a movie. Wow. I am a hypocrite. All I want to do now is sit and watch movies! I'm sorry! Okay back to the story. So I got mad and cried and cried. Finally he felt bad... I guess or he just wanted me to stop so he asked me if I wanted to call Gramma and talk to her. I said okay. So we called "Gramma" and I complained to her for like half an hour about how Aric was being mean and that he wouldn't play with me. After I was done Aric took the phone and said "Thanks Gramma! Bye!" As it turns out, it was really his friend. Talking like an old lady.Ooooh. I was so mad at him.
When I was about 3 or 4 or 5, (I can't remember how old I was) Erin and Ann dressed me up as a princess. They made a thrown for me and everything. I had a whole wardrobe. Complete with cape, dress, crown, sceptor and jewlery. I distincly remember walking up to the thrown. I was holding the sceptor (it was only about a foot long.) straight up in my hand. Erin came up to me and set it like a baby in my arms. I said, "Erin. That is not how princesses hold it." and Erin said, "Yes they do. Jenny just hold it like a baby." I really didn't want to. So I did what she said but when I got on my thrown I was in charge so I held it the way I wanted to. I think that is why I never wanted to be a princess. I would get bossed around and get told how to hold my sceptor.
I always wanted to be the maid to the princess. Interesting. I always got to run away. :)
I can't really think of anymore stories right now, but if you want more feel free to contact me. :]
I am going to answer 3 questions as if I were 4-7 now so you know what I was like as a child.
Sorry. It's kind of hard to see. If you click on it you can see it better. And yes I did write that. Just barely. I'm pretty good at little kid writing am I not?
And so it goes from this
and this....
To this
(P.S. Don't make fun of my wings.)
to this...
to this...
and finally to my present day appearance.......
TA DA! That's me!
Oh. And one more thing.
I just thought this was adorable, my sisters tell me that when I was little, Someone would say that I was cute and I would say, "I'm not cute! I'm Dang Cute!"
The things that little kids say.
