I draw with chalk . Brandon said that "My World" is in chalk drawings. I thought it was precious. And it could quite possible be true. I don't know why, but one of my favorite places in the whole world is my driveway. At night if I can't sleep, and it's not 11:00 at night, I'll go out (if it's warm) and lay on it and just gaze at the stars which happens to be one of my favorite pass times. I lay on it in the sun. I draw all over it. I read on it. I sit on it and I've had a few really good conversations with other people on it. Who knew that cement could be so friendly?
I have a friend named Harvey. Harvey P. P. He's a motorcycle. A 'ittle one. But he's a good boy. P. P stands for Put-Put. That's what my friends call him. He puts. It's adorable. The other day, "This" subject popped in my mind, even though it was secretly already there all day... I decided to go for a long momo ride. And it was absolutely fantastic. I love the feeling of the wind blowing through my hair even though once I get home, I can't pull a brush through it. Excellent. I love waving to people I know. And honestly, I love that I'm a girl and I know how to ride a motorcycle. It's impressed quite a few people before. Plus, my whole ward knows about it. When I turned 16 and I was advanced to be a laurel, my bishop and me stood at the pulpit in sacrament meeting and he said, "Jenny has turned the ripe old age of sixteen, and is getting her license soon... so watch out for a little red head on her motorcycle." Everyone laughed and it made me happy. :) It was a good ride. I loved it.
I play the piano. I'm currently working on one of the most beautiful and simple songs ever, "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" the William Joseph arrangement. Which is so beautiful, it makes me want to cry every time I start playing it. And there's always pounding out a good "Free Willy" theme song. That's fun.
I dance. Erin taught me how to house dance like a month ago, and let me tell you she was right that every song I hear that has a good beat to it, I house dance to it.
Wanna know my favorite place to stand on the whole earth? Right here.
Look how pleasant it is. Thank you Heavenly Father for giving the gift of gardening and an eye for beauty to my wonderful mom. And for the secret garden. I love it.
These are my "desserts". I hope you have good things in your life that help you get through things and get your mind in the clouds instead of everything here on the ground. :) Have a absa-bloomin-lutely fantastic day!
