You and Me at Homecoming

I heard a knock at the door and I waited for my dad to answer it, and I am hiding downstairs but the stairs at my house have holes in between so if you are downstairs, you can peek through the gaps and the people at the door most likely won't see you. He opens the door and 4 boys from my ward are standing there. Josh has a ukulele, and Xander has a ukulele, Hunter has a portable keyboard set up and Tyler has a guitar. Immediately I knew what they were at my house for at 10:30 at night. (This was on Saturday by the way...) So I pretend that I don't know that they were there, and my dad yells, "Jenny are you home?" after Josh says, "Hey is Jenny home?" I walk up the stairs and hide behind the door for a minute...I gave my dad an "Eep" face and then open the door so they could see me. Josh says, "Hey Jenny." and cues Hunter. Thus the video above. Sorry my dad starting recording a little bit late.

But here are the lyrics.

I was sitting there playing a ukulele, when this inspiration came to me

I need to get a date for homecoming, but who in the world could it be?

CHORUS
You, you, you, you

and me, me, me, me and

you, you, you you, and me at Homecoming.

Hey what's up your name is Jenny, I chose you girl over many,

Hey look at that I made a little rhyme,

Too bad it will only happen this one time.

So I got asked to Homecoming. I haven't answered yet, but when I do, (and it is a genius idea) I will post pictures and let you know. :) Be excited. :)
Love Jenny
