Spring Blues

The title of this post as you can clearly see is, "Spring Blues".

Doesn't that seem sort of oximoron-ish?

Spring = happy, colorful, bright, sun. Blues = sad, gloomy, dark, tired.

It's a sad day when you wish Spring was over. However, that is how I feel right now. It is dark and sad and gloomy outside. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the rain but it's time for it to stop. Enough rain. We want sunshine. We want blue skies. Not blue souls.

One thing that does make it better though, is that we only have 13 days of school left. Technically 9. The last 4 we don't do anything. Yearbook day, Senior Sluff Day, Graduation, and Last day of school. No actual school. Really school is over in English, Math, and Painting. English we just fly kites or watch movies that do relate to the curriculum. Testing is done in Math and all we are doing is our final project. Painting, we are cleaning her room, watching art movies and finishing our projects. The end of school. I just wish it all would end. I'm so done. English can go on if it wants, but only because I have the best class ever and the best teacher ever!

Sigh. I just can't wait any longer for Summer. I want it to come now. I think I just need a vacation. Disneyland. Or just plain California. My mom and dad are going to Ireland, my brother, sister-in-law and niece are in Disneyland, and my sister is working in California all Summer long. Oh and Hawaii! I want to go someplace warm...please?

Hum. I suppose I'll just have to suck it up and deal with the weather.
