Sixteen And Still Living

On Sunday, I turned the ripe old age of sixteen. Yes I know. I'm old. Get over it. It was really weird because I woke up the next day and looked in the mirror and I said to myself, "hmmm...not much difference." It was kinda funny. But being 16 is fun. It's no different than being 15, except you can drive, you can date, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Ok. Not really. But 16 is a mile marker in my life! I've been waiting to be 16 my whole life. Well I had a fantastic birthday! The things that made me scream and shout for joy and gladness on my bday are:

1. General Conference. Yes. My birthday is always on the day of General Conference, the day before General Conference or the day after General Conference. It's pretty exciting.

2. I got to make homemade pretzels which were simply divine.

3. Emma gave me a baby version of Happy Birthday.

4. Emma also made my day by calling me Jenny without me asking her to!

5. My uncle got me a princess birthday card and he called me princess Jenny. That made me feel pretty special...

6. I got PSYCH!!! Enough said.

7. $35.

8. Right before my mom brought in my pretzel with candles, I hear this "JENNY!" and I look over at the stairs and 4 of my bestest friends come up and what do they have with them? That's right. Balloons and a cake. With my name on it. Which means that it is mine. Emily also had a present for me because she is so sweet like that. That really made my day. It was quite fun seeing my friends on Sunday. It was really sweet of them. I love you guys!!!
